Eric Njoka was among the journalists who were shown the door by K24 TV early this week. Njoka, who's also a morgue attendant worked at the Mediamax owned TV station for seven years before he was declared redundant.

Njoka's co-host Karen Knaust was not spared as well. The duo used to read prime time news on K24 TV.

Reacting to their sacking, Eric Njika penned a touching message to Karen, reminiscing the good days at the station.

'Dear TV wife @k_knaust I miss us already...5 years of building a bond, cherishing friendships, break ups and make ups, but most of years of moulding a relationship that can and will never be broken. Karen, on the other hand, admitted it was the hardest news to process and her message to TV hubby (Njoka) read,
