Citizen TV's Francis Gachuri's daughter and sons watched him on Tv getting attacked by political goons.

Their first instinct was to check if their dad is okay.

Francis Gachuri is married with three kids; Sandra, Marcus and Curtis.

The kids together with their mum penned and emotional letter of the media personality.

Francis has since forgiven the men who attacked him on 31 October during a meeting called by the National Super Alliance (NASA) at the Wiper Headquarters in Lavington, Nairobi.

In a statement, Francis' beautiful soul shone through.

He Said, "I am fine. Very fine. The incident at Wiper Hqs was unfortunate but all is well. Thank you for your kind regards. I have forgiven my fellow young men who roughed me up at the Wiper Hqs . I do so UNCONDITIONALLY. May they find true PEACE in their hearts. Our country is going through tough times that raise emotions. Hopefully all this ends well. I hold no grudge against my attackers. None."

Adding, "One more thing, it's NOT TRUE that Philip Etale urged on the youths to rough me up. He actually was instrumental in helping me to safety."

After a rough day at work, the media personality was pleasantly surprised to go home to find his loving family waiting to embrace him in their warm hugs.

And of course and emotional letter addressed to "our loving dad".

Overwhelmed by emotion Francis Gachuri wrote on social media, "Lastly, this note penned by my daughter Sandra and her brothers Marcus and Curtis after watching the incident on TV is the real deal."

The letter read: "Dear loving Dad, We care about you so much. I hope you are fine and your heart will feel better and you will have HAPPINESS in your lips. wish you love, wisdom and faithfulness and lots of love. I love you very much."

It was signed by all the members of the Gachuri household.

NASA leaders also condemned the attack and apologized to the journalist.

“NASA is deeply disturbed by an incident in which some youths attending its meeting at Wiper Headquarters earlier today assaulted some reporters from local media houses. We wish to make it clear that the youth acted on their own and we condemn their actions in strongest terms possible. The Coalition registers unreserved apology to reporters who fell victim to this unfortunate incident,” read a statement by Dennis Anyango.
