The family of the late Anne Wanjohi are still in shock following her sudden death.

Ms Wanjohi, who helped run her sister's cyber cafe in Nairobi's Central Business District was shot five times on Saturday evening by her boyfriend, a police officer identified as Constable Simon Njoroge Njau.

“HE SHOT HER IN THE CHEST AND LET GO OF HER HAND BUT WHEN ANNE TURNED AROUND IN PAIN, HE SHOT HER TWICE IN THE HEAD AND THEN TWICE ON HER BACK AND SHE FELL ON THE FLOOR DEAD,” A WITNESS SAID.

Adding;

“HE WAS ALSO THREATENING TO SHOOT ALL OF US AND SO WE ESCAPED FROM THE SCENE BECAUSE WE COULD NOT SAVE ANNE ANYMORE; ONLY TO COME BACK LATER TO FIND HIM ON THE FLOOR WITH THE PISTOL HE USED STILL ON HIS HAND.”

The two had known each other for three months and Mr Njau wanted to settle down with Ms Wanjohi, but she wasn't ready.

She was his girlfriend, but he insisted on marriage," Mary Wangare, Ms Wanjohi’s sister told Nation.

Well, Mary Wangare took to social media to pay tribute to her younger sister, reminiscing the moments they spent together and she wrote;
