Sio simba, sio chui, sio mamba. The reigning king of music, Darassa, was supposed to be in town this weekend.

The Muziki star was set to headline this weekend's event at Xs Millionaires. But we found out that the star and his manager called off the event because of "miscommunication".

Speaking to  Darassa's manager, Hanscana, told the Star's Word Is in a phone interview that the miscommunication emanated from convertion of currency.

"Our fee was 5 million Tanzanian but they must have gotten the currency conversion wrong because they sent us USD 1000 which falls short of the full fee. When we checked in our accounts before we came we did not get the full fee as earlier agreed, thus the event had to be canceled," Hanscana said.

For the Darassa fans, don't lose hope, the manager promised that they are "still talking".
