Kenyans are mourning the death of iconic musician John Amutabi Nzenze.
The legendary musician known for the 60’s Kenyan dance and music style called Twist breathed his last today afternoon.
Mzee Nzenze died at Mukumu Mission Hospital at about 2pm.
The popular singer had been hospitalised for a month at the hospital where he was being treated for hypertension and stomach ulcers.
The octogenerian was famed for hits like “Angelike” (released in 1961), “Julieta Rudi Tuone” and “Habari za Nairobi (Nairobi twist)”.
