Bob Collymore’s widow Wambui Kamiru is among the hundreds of mourners who are attending his memorial service.
Wambui was dressed in a floral dress and a white long sweater, low black heels with a brown handbag.
During Bob’s crematorium, she wore bright colors.
Yesterday, Wambui asked mourners not to wear black. In a message conveyed by Jeff Koinange, she said,
JEFF TELL PEOPLE NOT TO WEAR BLACK TOMORROW FOR THE MEMORIAL. WE ARE NOT MOURNING BOB, WE ARE CELEBRATING HIM,’ READ HER MESSAGE.

Before his death, Bob Collymore asked his family to cremate him the second day after passing on. He also instructed that there shouldn’t be a grand burial.
BOB ALWAYS LIVED MODESTLY. AFTER TELLING US THAT HIS DOCTOR HAD TOLD HIM HE WOULD HARDLY GO PAST THREE DAYS, OUR MINDS KICKED INTO PLANNING. HE WAS SPECIFIC ON WHAT HE WANTED TO BE DONE.
HE SPECIFIED THAT HE WANTED HIS BODY CREMATED WITHIN 24 HOURS AND AT KARIOKOR CENTRE AND STERNLY REJECTED ANY PLAN FOR A GRAND CEREMONY FOR HIS BURIAL,’ ” a SOURCE told the star.
