Shaffie Weru is a name that rings synonymous with wild partying -well, maybe not so wild these days. He is still the Raverend though.

And while most know about his rather public persona as the Raverend, few if any ever get to catch a glimpse of the man behind the brand. And with good reason too. The man understands the business he is in -entertainment and the monster that has consumed many a celebrity; fame. Fame is a monster with a mind of it's own. It needs to be fed.

If you let it starve, you will end up losing your mantle and sink from being an A-list celebrity to being a D-lister. If you let it have it's way, it will eat you up with gluttonous zeal. Any celebrity worth his weight in brand equity knows to feed the monster to it's fill on his brand, not on his private being.

Perhaps that is why few if any know that Shaffie Weru has a son called TJ. A 10 year old at that. And we got a rather intimate photo of the two of them spending some quality time together and it was the sweetest thing ever -pause.
