A Nairobi high court has sentenced blogger Cyprian Nyakundi to four months imprisonment or pay a fine of Sh300,000 for contempt of court.
Nyakundi who has missed court on several occasions when he was required to present himself for sentencing after he was found guilty of contempt in a defamation case in December 2016.
Justice Lucy Njuguna had restrained Nyakundi from continuous online defamatory publications against Safaricom boss, a warning he never heeded to.
The blogger was brought to court under warrant of arrest after spending three days in police cells.
