Kericho residents were left in shock after finding the dead body of a woman whose husband in the club drinking.
According to the police, the man arrived home, and shortly after, an argument broke out with the deceased, which turned into a physical fight.
The deceased woman allegedly took a knife and attempted to stab her husband, but he dodged, grabbed her and turned on her, stabbing her to death.
After committing the crime, the man put her body in the passenger seat and drove to Kapsoit Trading Centre on a drinking spree.
Confirming the incident, Belgut Sub-County Police Commander Charles Kibati, the suspect, stabbed his wife with a knife at home on Sunday, November 26, before driving to town with her body.
They became suspicious after noticing blood on the clothes of the 46-year-old.
Upon demanding the suspect tell them what happened, he took them to his car where they discovered the lifeless body of a woman.
The revelers reported the incident at Kapsoit Police Station, and officers rushed to the scene and arrested the man.
The body was bleeding and had injuries to the head, mouth, and eyes.
The woman was confirmed to be his wife.
