A court in Nigeria was shocked after an outraged case was told before them about four 17-year-old boys who collaborated and raped a 16-year-old girl in shifts in the church toilet all night.
According to the news of the country's television station, the boys ambushed the girl in the church toilet at night during the vigil service and did the same to her until the morning while streaming the video directly on the TikTok and WhatsApp networks, the court was told.
The court adjourned the case to August 2, 2023, pending advice from the Ogun State Director of Public Prosecutions.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the youths will be remanded in the custody of the Correctional Center until the next date of hearing.
The suspects, who are all students, live with their parents in Ikosi Ketu, Lagos State. They are accused of conspiracy, rape, and cyberbullying.
