A woman who has been in a coma since 2001 has finally died.
Hanna Nachenberg was a survivor of a Palestinian suicide bomber who targeted a pizzeria in central Jerusalem in August 200.
The attack left 15 people dead, including eight children.
More than 120 people were wounded in the attack, one of the deadliest during the second Palestinian intifada or uprising.
According to AFP, Nachenberg's then three-year-old daughter was unharmed in the attack.
Speaking to Israeli website Ynet, Nachenberg's father Yitzhak confirmed that she never regained consciousness and died after having being hospitalized for the past three weeks in Tel Aviv.
"Our daughter died after 22 years of heroism," he said.
The attack was claimed by the Islamic Jihad militant group.
