Singer Dishon Mirugi speaks out after a Pastor died in his house

The two ministered in two different churches.

Gospel singer Dishon Mirugi, whose official name is Paul Mathenge Nderi is being investigated over the mysterious death of Pastor Elizabeth Wanjiru Githigi.

Mirugi has today been taken to Makadara Law Courts to answer to murder charges.

Dishon has been trending on social media after reports emerged that pastor Elizabeth had died in his house allegedly by suicide.

According to reports, the Nakuru-based preacher visited Dishon in his Nairobi house along Kamiti Road.

The musician later reported that he found her hanging in his wardrobe.

Speaking to Nation Africa, the musician described the tragic incident as the most trying moment in his life.

"I will not go down by the designs of the devil since all that God started in my life will never suffer and will surpass evil designs," Dishon said.

According to details shared by blogger Muthiora, Elizabeth allegedly sent a text message to her sister expressing fear for her life.

He supposedly took the body to KU mortuary according to reports after unsuccessfully traversing the city trying to do so.

It has also emerged that Mirugi owed Elizabeth sh400,000k and had visited him to sort out their love issues.

"On the day of the incident, she had gone to ask for the 400k that she had given Mhubiri," said blogger Muthiora.

At the mortuary, Mirugi registered Elizabeth as his girlfriend.
