According to police, a murder incident was reported by a security guard at the guest house that on July 30, 2021at around 7pm, the accused person went to the lodge accompanied by unknown woman and booked a room where they spent the night.

It became suspicious prompting the security guard to inquire from him the whereabouts of the deceased who was his companion.
The guard told the accused that the regulations of the premises are they both check out the way they booked in.
They went back to the room only to find the woman naked lying in bed appearing to be asleep. They tried to wake her up but she did not respond to any touch or sound.
Police officers visited the scene and confirmed that the woman was dead and blood was oozing from her private parts.
Allegedly, the accused had argued with the deceased after she refused to be paid Sh800 instead of Sh2,000 as agreed before booking the room.
Ngobu is said to have strangled her when she refused to sleep with him for the lesser money.
