Sarah Wairimu, Tob Cohen's widow has told off Gabriel Van Straten and Benard, Cohen's siblings, to stop interfering with the ongoing probe into the death of the late billionaire businessman.

Cohen's siblings have held that Sarah had a hand in the death of their kin and even opposed the plan to withdraw the case.

DPP Noordin Haji however on Tuesday withdrew the case paving the way for the creation of an inquest into Cohen's mysterious death.

But in a rejoinder to the onslaught sustained by Cohen's siblings, Sarah has literally told them to hold their horses and let investigators handle their matter.

"To Gabriel and Benard, the siblings of Tob Cohen, shut up and let the independent investigators do their job. As for their claim to the co-owned matrimonial property, on the basis of the disputed will, they should await the determination of the matter in the High Court," Sarah said through her lawyer Philip Murgor.

The statement came on the very day Cohen's sister appealed to President William Ruto to intervene and have the case continue.

She opposed plans to withdraw the case saying it will deny her brother justice. Her plea, however, did not materialise as the DPP finally withdrew the case leaving Sarah off the hook.

Reacting to the withdrawal of the case, Sarah breathed a sigh of relief saying the journey has been emotionally torturous.

She fingered former DCI George Kinoti accusing him of orchestrating her woes.

"Today marks the end of the nightmare that began in July 2019. The alleged disappearance of my husband was quickly hijacked and became the object of criminal manipulation by former DCI George Kinoti and others in ODPP," she said.
