• A video of a foreigner getting into a physical confrontation with security personnel at the AdLife Plaza in Kilimani.

• According to the journalist, the twosome allegedly started assaulting the guards and the employees of the shop.

A video of a white man getting into a physical confrontation with security personnel at the AdLife Plaza in Kilimani, Nairobi County, went viral on social media on Wednesday, August 3.

The video was posted on journalist Saddique Shaban's Twitter page where he explained that the white man and his woman had gotten into trouble after they hurled racial epithets at the guards.

The reason for this was that the couple had broken a bottle of sauce and paid for it inside Chandarana Supermarket-something that they didn't like being told to do.

According to the journalist, the twosome allegedly started assaulting the guards and the employees of the shop.

"Early morning drama at Ad Life Plaza, Kilimani. A white man, yelling racist words- F and N bombs- physically assaulted a security guard & got an instant serving of karma, alongside Kenyan female friend," he started.

He went on to say that were it not for quick police action, the couple might have been in more trouble.

"The pair were spared additional public wrath thanks to prompt police action. After assaulting me as I was filming this and taking my ID card shortly after the last frame, plainclothes officers arrived to take the intoxicated pair away. You can see the policeman coming toward me."

In the video, one can see that after being knocked to the ground, the foreigner fought back and attempted to kick the security personnel in an effort to escape.

The foreigner was pushed away by the guards while an unidentified female friend came to his aid, attempting to save him from the altercation.

The foreigner gets to his feet and says to the guards, "I want you one-on-one." The woman moved in front of the guard in an unsuccessful attempt to dissuade them from striking him more.

As soon as a police officer arrived in uniform, they started to restrain the foreigner. A crowd of onlookers who had gathered at the scene at the time objected to the foreigner's comments and wanted to attack him.

The foreigner was handcuffed and taken into custody, and then peace returned. Shocked Kenyans were divided about the whole spectacle.

Simba Sadly though, these guards will be sacked immediately and may even find themselves in Kamiti for assault. They would have just subdued him if he was causing a scene or posing a security threat. People don't learn - it's easier to just walk away from such situations.
