A video has emerged of Sheila Lumumba, the gay woman who was murdered last week by 6 men.

Mpasho unearthed one of the last videos that Sheila participated in before her brutal death last week.

In the TikTok video posted by Its_Eve1066, Eve is seen taking a video with Sheila in the background. The caption that accompanied the video read,

"Wish I knew this will be the last video .πŸ₯ΊπŸ₯ΊRest well Sheila am gonna miss you πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ•ŠοΈπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ."

In the video, one can see that Sheila was munching a healthy meal of greens, and what might be ugali or rice (I can't really tell which).

The two then start walking down a hallway as Eve smiles heartily while Sheila stares stoically at the camera.

Sheila was allegedly murdered by 6 men in Karatina town for the simple reason that she was a gay woman.

They not only slit her throat but also gang-r*ped her in a brutal act that has curdled the stomachs of many Kenyans online.

Prominent gay activist Makena Njeri, was left deeply saddened by the alleged hate crime.

She penned an emotional message on her social media, writing,

"Sept 2021 We lost our sweet Erica πŸ•Š to a Homophobic attack. She was killed because of being a Transwoman. A human being just like everyone else, a Kenyan just like all of us. In April 2022 we mourn another queer soul. We mourn the death of another human being who was raped and killed by six men πŸ’”. Reason? HOMOPHOBIA. How disgusting that this is where the world has gotten to and to even bring it closer home she was a Kenyan who is protected by the same laws that govern us."
