Police are investigating an incident in which a Matatu driver was found dead in a hotel room in Juja, Kiambu County.
The driver who has been working with Travelers Sacco had been missing for hours before his body was discovered in the room last evening.
The body was removed to the mortuary as police investigate the incident. It’s the latest in a series that have been reported to police in the country in a shocking trend.
MEANWHILE:
A police officer was killed after he was run over by a lorry in an accident in Juja, Kiambu County.
Constable Stephene Ngeno was riding on a motorcycle with his colleague while on patrol when they were involved in a collision with another rider.
This threw Ngeno off the motorcycle before he landed on the opposite direction and under a moving Lorry which ran over him killing him on the spot.
Police were called to the scene and picked up the body to the mortuary. Investigations into the accident are ongoing.
