A woman who used her sharp teeth to bite off the boyfriend's ear, forcing him to carry it in a paper bag has been charged with grievous harm

Zainab Ochero was charged before Kibera senior principal magistrate Charles Mwaniki where she denied the charges.

The charge sheet says that she committed the offence on February 21, 2022, in the Kangemi location within Nairobi County.

According to the police, the woman attacked the man by biting his right ear which was extremely damaged and cut off from its position and it fell on the ground.

The police say that the man after seeing his ear on the ground carried it in a paper bag and was escorted to the hospital within the surroundings.

The police say that the man was told to seek further treatment at another hospital in Eastland where he was told that the ear was completely damaged and needed plastic surgery after three months of treatment.

Zainab told the police that he was angered by the complainant’s accusations that he was in another affair and also the victim refused to book her a bodaboda to Kawangware.

She told the police that the complainant gave her only Sh100 for fare.

Before the court today, the woman denied the charges and was released on an Sh300,000 bond with the surety of the same amount.
