Suspected narcos dealer found dead under unclear circumstances

The body of a Mombasa based narcotics suspects Fahmi Bakari Shekuwe has been found at the Thika Mortuary, Kiambu County almost two months after he went missing.

Fahmi went missing on December 3, 2021, in Mombasa.

HAKI Africa confirmed they identified the body Fahmi on Sunday. Two weeks ago, the body of another suspected drug trafficker who had gone missing was found in a mortuary in Thika.

The body of the missing suspected Mombasa drug baron Masuo Bakari Tajiri was found at the mortuary and was badly decomposed with marks of torture and burns.

Tajiri went missing on December 3 alongside Fahmi and one Mohammed Hussein who had accompanied him to Thika to purchase a matatu.

Hussein is still missing with the families hoping for their safe return. The family of Fahmi also visited Thika morgue and identified it.

Plans are underway to bury the body.
