All about DJ Lithium who died at the Capital FM offices

Capital FM's DJ Lithium breathed his last yesterday evening at Nairobi hospital.

Sources told Mpasho that DJ Lithium - real name Alex Nderi - ingested a harmful substance  while at Capital FM and left behind a suicide note.

He was found slumped in the toilet, efforts to resuscitate him were futile.

Lithium also texted close friends and family telling them he is gone.

Before the incident that eventually killed him, he deleted all his social media accounts. The only online presence he has left behind is his music mixes on the various music streaming sites.

Lithium who was 34-years-old, described himself as a "Music Lover", he is known for having a bias for RnB to hip hop but his strength and passion are in playing EDM and Afrohouse.

He loved his deejaying job at Capital FM where he hosted the Club Capital show, every Friday from 11:00 PM to 2:00 AM and on the Jam Fridays from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. 

Lithium was also a producer on Capital FM and hosted various gigs in top urban venues in Nairobi.

In high school, he loved chemistry and hence decided to use Lithium as his stage name.
