A 14-year-old girl was last night arrested in connection with a fire incident that burnt down part of a dormitory at a private school in the Ruai area, Nairobi.
The girl is expected in court to face charges of arson after the fire burnt down at least ten beds and other personal belongings of students.
Police say the student told them she does not want to stay at Lake View Bitrose School hence her actions.
No one was injured during the incident. Such past fire incidents have grounded operations at various schools in the country.
