Revealed-Last call killer cop Benson Imbatu made before his death

This week, Kenyans woke up to the terrible news that police officer, Benson Imbatu had killed 6 before turning the gun on himself.

Police are still trying to piece together what happened before the fateful incident. In a report in the Standard newspaper, sleuths revealed that Imbatu had last spoken to his cousin at 1:03 am, in a phone call that lasted close to 90 seconds.

In the call, Imbatu allegedly said that he had killed a woman he only identified as Carol, however, he didn't explain the reason he killed her.

On Monday, the veteran police officer killed his wife, Carol, neighbours and bodaboda riders who had rushed to his house to check what had happened after hearing gunshots.

The cop who was attached to Kabete police station went home with his AK47 rifle and picked a quarrel with his wife, Carol Imbatu, ending with the fateful shooting.

Neighbours and bodaboda riders who operate near the Heights Apartment where the officer stayed rushed to the house to check what had happened.

In the process, the 53-year-old stepped out with his gun blazing and felled five other people including two bodaboda riders and his neighbours in different locations near the house.
