Police are investigating an incident in which a man killed his two parents in a suicide bomb mission in Katito area, Kisumu County.
The man has been on the radar of anti-terror police and was working in a quarry in the area.
He is said to have gone home wired with an improvised explosive devise and blasted himself with his parents.
His younger daughter was injured in the incident that indicate the spread of terror cells to other regions other than the traditional ones.
The attacker, an orphan and class 5 dropout is said to have left home more than 5 years ago for Mombasa where he joined Al-Shabaab and later came back.
Anti-terror police have been sent to the area to investigate the incident.
