City man stabs pal during a hunting trip in Narok

 Police in Narok North Sub County are investigating an incident where a body of a 36-year-old man was found lying in an Isuzu D-max vehicle at Ewaso Nyiro trading centre Friday night.

Narok county police Commander Kizito Mutoro said police who were acting on screams from the members of the public rushed to the scene where they found the body of James Mukami lying in the vehicle with a deep visible stab wound below the left armpit.

The police boss said according to the preliminary reports, the driver of the Isuzu D-max registration number KCV 180Z by the name David Kamau,31, had gone hunting together with the deceased at Narosura area in Narok south where he unfortunately stabbed him.

However, the man succumbed on the way as he was rushing him to the hospital forcing the driver of the vehicle to stop at the deceased’s home to inform his wife about the incident.

The wife raised an alarm prompting the members of the public to rush to their home, where they found the deceased lying dead in the vehicle.

The police boss said the driver of the vehicle who is the main suspect was arrested as the body of the deceased was taken to the Narok County Referral Hospital mortuary for preservation.

The incident comes two days after a 24-year-old man's body was found lying at Siyiapei health centre in the early hours of the morning with serious head injuries.
