Njuki Gichovi father to Kirinyaga man who on Monday killed his entire family now says his son was always obedient. The old man said he was also shocked at how things turned out.

Speaking during an interview with NTV, he says

'He was a good child and I have never seen anything bad. Growing up he was a very good kid. I have never seen him use drugs and even now he was farming.

I am very shocked at the things I am hearing. He loved his kids and they lived well. They even worked with his wife."

Paul Murage Njuki was on Monday arrested after he allegedly killed his wife and four children in a village in Kirinyaga County in a bizarre incident.

Njuki, 35, is said to have also defiled one of his deceased daughters before killing her.

He surrendered to the local police Monday before he led detectives to the location where he had dumped their bodies.
