Ibrahim Kipkemboi Rotich who is the prime suspect in the murder of athlete Agnes Tirop will today (Tuesday) be arraigned at the High Court in Eldoret to face murder charges.

The court had last week ordered that he undergoes medical assessment at the Moi Referral Hospital and be returned today to take plea for murder.

Tirop was on October 13th found dead in her house in Iten where she lived with Rotich as her boyfriend. 

A postmortem on the body revealed that she died after being stabbed on the neck and being hit by a blunt object in the head.
