Police are investigating an incident in which a young man allegedly killed his mother’s lover at the Sogoo area in Narok South Sub County after a domestic quarrel.
Narok county commander John Kizito said the body of 47-year-old Julius Tuwei was found a few meters from his lover's home Ms. Rosemary Silipa.
“The body of the deceased had multiple injuries and was dumped along the path near the homestead of Ms. Silipa. The incident was reported by the members of the public,” said Kizito.
The police boss said suspect Ngori Cheruiyot, who is the son of Ms. Silipa could have committed the murder after reports indicated that he had previously engaged him in a heated quarrel that night.
“The deceased was cohabitating with Ms. Silipa until last night when domestic squabbles began. Cherioyot reportedly hit the deceased with an iron rod inflicting multiple injuries on his body,” said Kizito.
