The body of a Bomet University student, who had drowned at Kimaya Falls Sunday, has been found.
This follows a long search in the swollen Nyongores river at Chebara area, Chepalungu Sub County where the student had visited with four others before drowning.
According to Bomet County Disaster Management Officer Stanley Mutai, the search was conducted by the County divers in conjunction with Red Cross.
Mutai said the exercise took long owing to challenges posed by the section of the river saying they were however happy that they have successfully retrieved the body.
Meanwhile the body has been moved to Longisa County referral hospital morgue.
