Postmortem done on the body of the KMTC Loitoktok campus student who was killed by his boyfriend on Saturday reveal that she was stabbed severally in the neck leading to her death.

The postmortem revealed by the parents of the girl after the government pathologist declined to speak to the media showed that the injuries on the neck affected the heart and the lungs of the deceased.

Joseph Chepkwuony the father of the girl said he was informed of the demise of his daughter on Saturday at around 10.00 am and had to travel the following day.

Chepkwuony appealed to the government to help the family in transporting the body and facilitating the burial in their rural home in Kericho.

Damaris Chepkuony, the deceased’s mother has called for a thorough investigation over the death of their daughter to ensure justice is accorded to her.

The parents have advised the young generation to avoid being entangled with love affairs while in school rather than concentrate on their education.

Miriam Chepchirchir, 22, second born in the family was murdered on Saturday night by Samson Kipkorir Kemoi, 27, who had paid her a visit on Friday.

Chepchirchir was a first-year, studying clinical medicine who her parents termed as disciplined and was doing well in her studies.

The assailant stabbed the deceased with a knife which was recovered at the scene of the crime at Kamukunji Estate after they had a difference.

Kipkorir, an Information Technology intern at Ruaraka, Nairobi after committing the heinous act went to Loitoktok police station and surrendered.
