Details of premonition phone call deputy headteacher made before his murder

A somber mood engulfed the residents of Mkulima area in Kuresoi North after a primary school deputy headteacher was found murdered near a maize plantation. 

The deceased identified as Simon Too of Baringo Valley primary school is said to have met his brutal death at the hands of someone known to him who reportedly assaulted and stabbed him to death. 

The area chief John Macharia who also confirmed the incident termed this as unfortunate and said that the suspect, Peter Korir had already been arrested and is waiting to be arraigned in court. 

Macharia further revealed that the duo was in a dispute.

Too is said to have contacted a Nyumba kumi elder during the day informing him that the suspect who was drunk at the time he called him, had threatened his life and that he was worried about his safety. 

An angry mob is said to have pounced on Korir and gave him a thorough beating before he was rescued by the local police officers.

The body of the deceased was taken to Molo sub-county hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem while Korir will remain at Kuresoi North police station awaiting to be arraigned in court.
