Winnie Odhiambo has penned an emotional message on her social media after her two children were killed on Saturday night.
Five-year-old Dylan Gakara, and 3-year-old Karuana Gakara are suspected to have been killed by their father, James Gakara.
Days after their death, the mother of two posted a picture of her children on social media, bidding them farewell.
Winnie assured her deceased children that she will fight for their justice and regretted leaving them with their dad.
“My heart is shattered; I failed to protect you my loves. The person you trusted the most betrayed you my darlings, I promise to fight for justice for you; Go well my sweethearts,” Winnie penned.
On Wednesday morning, Dr James Gakara who was receiving treatment at the Nakuru Level 5 Hospital was also pronounced dead.
The gynaecologist was found lying unconscious in his house, with his two children lying dead in another room.
