Family is seeking help to find Corporal Joseph Otieno, a GSU armoury officer who has been missing since July 9.

After a month of search, the family is seeking to get closure on his whereabouts, whether dead or alive.

"We are desperate for any little help that will lead us to finding our brother. we are now prepared psychologically to find him whether dead or alive to end the family agony," said Otieno's brother Tom.

Joseph Otieno's parents, including his ailing mother, have travelled from Kisumu to seek an audience with the GSU leadership.

Before missing, Joseph had left the GSU headquarters, set to travel to his rural home to see his ailing mum.

According to Tom(his brother), the police have gone mute about his disappearance.

The family has done searches in a number of mortuaries around Nairobi and Kiambu with no success.

"We today intend to search at the city mortuary as the final morgue in Nairobi before we extend search in the morgues outside Nairobi," said Tom.
