The crime of passion that lead businessman Jonathan Mukundi to shoot his wife, Philomena Njeri, four times is still puzzling detectives.

According to an autopsy conducted on Philomena's body it was discovered that Mukundi did not shoot her three times, but four times.

Twice on her head and twice on her abdomen.

The autopsy also revealed that Philomena was not pregnant for a secret lover, as earlier reported .

According to a post-mortem conducted by Chief Government pathologist Johansen Oduor at the Kenyatta University Funeral Home, the single gunshot wound to Mukundi's head raptured his brains after entering from the right side and exiting on the left.

Sources claimed that Philomena was shot when she was sound asleep and did not see it coming.

Neigbours, friends and workers on Mukundi claimed that he was generally a pleasant person but was very quick to temper.

Their bodies were found in the bedroom of his posh mansion in Kiambu. Philomena was still lying in bed and Mukundi's body was found on the floor.
