• Alex Njiru said, "I had a lot of plans and hopes with Peter Ndwiga but now I see that is not possible."
The father of slain security consultant Peter Ndwiga Njiru has spoken out.
Alex Njiru told media sources, "This girl called Caroline [Kangogo], I have never seen or heard about her. I have never seen or meet her parents. Even [hear any rumours] out there."
Ndwiga's lifeless body was found lying in a bed at Hotel Dedamax, in a pool of blood oozing from a single gunshot wound to his head.
"I'm shocked at the news [of Ndwiga's death] and it is hard to internalise," the distraught dad said.
The old man revealed that he had hopes and dreams for his children but fate is proving to be unkind to him.
"I had three children, now there is nothing...all that is left is one child."
He continued, "I had a lot of plans and hopes with Ndwiga but now I see that is not possible."
The family lamented that they heard the sad news of their loves one's death on the news.
Faith Kitaka who also spoke on behalf of the family expressed pain and anger at the fact that rogue cop Caroline Kangogo has not been arrested.
"It is a big shock that a cop has killed our son, and has gone rogue."
Adding, "So far all we have heard is that she is still out there and has not been arrested. We wonder where is this that she is hiding that the long arm of the law cannot find and arrest her?"
