Seven Gaza gang members have been gunned down by police. The gang was killed along Sagana Makutano road at Rukanga near Makutano on the busy Nyeri - Nairobi highway.

The seven suspects are believed to be the thugs who shot dead two police officers in Kibichoi, Kiambu.

This comes barely two weeks after Michael Mwaniki, alias Mwanii the ring leader of notorious Gaza gang was killed together with another suspect identified as Willy after being trailed by police officers from Kayole. 

Police recovered a pistol, two homemade guns, 11 bullets and 60 rolls of bhang from the killed suspects.

Kiambu police chief Adriel Nyange also blamed the gang for police killings in Kayole, Dandora, and Utawala.They are said to have been travelling to the Mount Kenya region on a robbery mission.

The gang is known for armed robberies and carjacking in parts of Nairobi's Eastlands.

Detectives from the Special Crime Prevention Unit trailed them from Nairobi to Makutano, Sagana.

The second group of suspects travelling in another car escaped yesterday. Kirinyaga county police chief David Kirui said the killed men were linked to the gang of the Nairobi "Prettiest Thug", Cleah Adi Vybz who was shot dead in May.

Well, Hessy took to social media to share photos of the seven criminals accompanied by this message;

"SEVEN Gaza gang members no longer with us along Nyeri-Nairobi highway.You can run but soon there will nowhere to hide. #CrimeNeverPays!!"
