Residents of Bomet are in utter shock after a woman stabbed her boyfriend to death on Tuesday, February 14 after a night of heavy drinking.

Reports indicate that the two who had been living together as husband and wife for 10 years at their home in Makanji estate got into an argument after returning home.

The woman reached out for a kitchen knife during the squabble and used it in stabbing the man on his left shoulder.

She ran away after the incident and left him bleeding profusely on the floor. The man is said to have suffered a deep cut and he died as a result of the heavy bleeding.

The deceased's body was taken to Longisa Sub-Conty Hospital mortuary as the men in blue pursue the suspect who is still at large.
