Media personality Jeff Koinange has asked Kenyans not to take Covid-19 as a joke as it is truly in existence and will be for some time.

Speaking during Jeff Koinage Live, the father of one said what is causing fear among Kenyans is that we are focusing more on deaths than recoveries.

'A lot of people survive than die, we focus so much on how many people are sick that we forget to count how many have pulled through.

Most people are afraid of putting their covid-19 status out in the public because people will assume they are dying.

Which is not the case. 90% of the people will come out of it.'

Further adding,

'Covid-19 is real, do not be in denial if you feel any signs get checked and protect those close to you.'

Jeff had taken to his social media last week to announce that he had tested positive for Covid-19 but assured his fans he was making a great recovery.

'Folks, just to let you know, I have tested POSITIVE for Covid-19. I'm doing Good..NO symptoms...and my Family is fine. All my close contacts have been informed. Right now I'm in self isolation. Many thanks to Royal Media Services Management for its Support. Stay SAFE & God Bless!'

His co-hosts Victoria Rubadiri and Professor Hamo have both tested negative for Covid-19.
