Just earlier today, a Shaffie Weru fan surprised him with something profoundly humbling and he couldn’t get enough of it, being clearly excited. An artist by the name Chris Krisaki has been an artist since age 15. The 25-year-old is from Eastlands, Nairobi and is passionate about the craft, despite friends telling him that he can thrive in other areas as well.

The portrait he brought Shaffie has an estimated worth on 10,000 shillings, was framed in a beautiful black and white frame.

Shaffie thanked the young artist for taking his time to come up with the art. The inspiration came from a recent issue of DRUM Magazine that featured the famed on air personality. Chris’ art can be accessed on his Facebook page.

He uses graphite and charcoal to produce his work. For him, it’s been a journey of trial and error as he strived to perfect his craft.
