Controversial pastor James Ng'ang'a of Neno Evangelism has made headlines once again. James Ng'ang'a, a well-known pastor in the city is said to have caused an accident along the Nairobi-Naivasha highway while he was drunk that left one dead.

According to an eye witness, Ng'ang'a was over speeding and driving toward oncoming traffic when he had a head-on collision with a saloon car which belonged to a couple; Martin Mbugua and Mercy Njeri. The two were critically injured and later on in the night, Mercy succumbed to the injuries.

The couple was on its way to Ngarariga Limuru to visit their parents. Ng'ang'a is said to have fled the scene and was later found at Tigoni police station where his range rover has been taken and was later towed back to the city. One may ask how James Ng'ang'a was able to get his vehicle out of Tigoni police station yet his insurance sticker had expired.
