Miss World Kenya Charity Mwangi jetted into the country yesterday after spending a better part of the month in China. The pageant came to an end on 19th December, seeing Miss World Spain carry the crown home.

She was welcomed by members of the County Government of Kiambu and Ashleys representatives. It has been a great journey for Kenya as a country.

Charity took to Instagram to reveal to Kenyans that she part of the top 30 out of a total 114 contestants at the Miss World finals.

Here's what she had to say.

"Kenya made it to top 30 out of 114, beauty with a purpose project was rated top 15 out of 114. I was also number 4 in the sport team of top 6. I also got recognition for the best dressed overall in my team. Kenya's auction item was among the best 5 picked out of 114 countries at the charity gala. We thank God"

We wish Charity all the best in the immediate projects she will be undertaking as Miss World Kenya.
