Larry Madowo now has a Masters in Business & Economics Journalism. The former NTV employee went abroad after leaving the media house to become a business editor for BBC Africa.

He later took a sabbatical to finish his studies. He announced

“HARD TO BELIEVE THAT I’VE GOT JUST 3 WEEKS LEFT WITH THE BBC BEFORE TAKING A BREAK TO BE A FULL-TIME STUDENT AGAIN AT COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY. NEW YORK CITY, I’LL SEE YOU SOON BUT FOR NOW, NAIROBI, BE NICE TO ME,” 

Well, it seems he is now done and could be returning to BBC soon

I just graduated virtually! Master’s in Business & Economics Journalism from @columbia in the bag. And finished with Knight-Bagehot Fellowship at @columbiajournalism. And my thesis won the 2020 Philip Greer Award for Financial Writing. I’m so grateful for all these blessings 🙏🏾 #RoarLions2020
