Who doesn't know Kidiaba the stylish goalkeeper if I may ask? Well, Robert Muteba Kidiaba is the current captain and goalkeeper of DR Congo. Born in Kipushi 38 years ago, Kidiaba has played for AS Saint-Luc and TP Mazmbe and has also featured for the DR Congo national team since 2002.

Many remember Kidiaba for his crazy celebration (sliding around the pitch on his butt) after his team had just tied up Ghana at 2-2 in their match at the Africa Cup of Nations 2013. Kidiaba seems to have had enough of  football and says he will retire from international football after the 2015 Afcon. He also said he is hoping to help guide DR Congo to the knockout stage at the Equatorial Guinea finals for the first time since 2006. Unlike most footballers who just concentrate on football alone as a career, Kidiaba works as a peace ambassador for the Peace One Day charity in DR Congo.
