I actually don't know who's to blame here. Anyway,Ken Kimani better known as "Online" who's also eying the Kenyatta University Students Association - KUSA organizing secretary post.

According to Chipukeezy, "Online" wanted them to campaign for him while on stage but they refused. He then brought up issues and even told Chipukeezy and Karis to leave  after they disagreed on the remuneration.

To make things worse, the organizers switched off Chipukeezy and Karis' microphone whilst on stage even after they had agreed to perform for free for their fans who were eagerly waiting. On the defense, the organizers said that the two comedians wanted to cause trouble.

Chipukeezy: YY called me to tell me that he has a show and I should come and perform..we agreed on terms we said 50k..I told yy if I have to come I have to be paid first before I go on stage. .I came demanding for my money ..guys said they have 30k..I told them we said 50..they said we take 30k or we go..we decided to go..on our way out yy called me back and said they have the cash. .on arrival they said that we will not perform. .mind you he had already mentioned on stage that we are around. .so David the student called us on stage. .we get on stage and they switched off the microphone s..we actually wanted to perform for free but they switched of the fuckin mics
