Willy Paul has straddled the fine line that comes with being a gospel artiste until this year. His recent decision to do secular music has left many of his gospel fans disgruntled and unhappy.

Even his gospel contemporary Hope Kid recently spoke in an interview with Willy M Tuva about his desire for Willy to go back to gospel music. He said:

THE REASON WHY GOD ALISHINE THE LIGHT UPON YOUR LIFE IS BECAUSE HE SAW SOMETHING IN YOU NA ALIASHINE HIYO LIGHT UKIFANYA KAZI YAKE, SIO HII KAZI INGINE. SO IF YOU CAN GO BACK TO THE FIRST LOVE, SISI KAMA WAKRISTO UTUIMBIE WIMBO INGINE KAMA SITOLIA TUTASHUKURU SANA.

But Pozze is on a mission and he will keep at it even if he alienates fans and haters alike. His most recent secular songs have elicited a lot of different reactions from Kenyans.

He released his song "Sikireti" last week with guest star Bad Gyal Cecil and the reactions from some Kenyans have been cruel, to say the least.
