Drama ensued after a 19-year-old high school student stabbed her cop boyfriend and his workmate in a bitter fight at their home.

According to a police report from Siaya County, Ugunja Police Station, two police officers were assaulted by the teenager.

The report reads,

"Today 25/12/2020 at around 2350 hours by CPL Solomon Kipchumba to report office personnel while he was bleeding from his mouth that there was an injury to a police officer. PC Dennis Mugo who had a fight with his girlfriend namely Sheril Awino Luo female adult aged 19 years and a student at Rambula Mixed Secondary School in form three in the house of the said officer."

It adds,

"In the process, the suspect picked a broken piece of glass from a broken glass table and attacked the victim by cutting him on his head and on the left upper arm. The victim screamed for help while bleeding heavily from the deep cuts."

CPL Solomon Kipchumba rushed to the house. He was also attacked by the angry teenager. She cut him with the same piece of glass on his left lower lip.

"He immediately rushed to the station to report the matter. Police officers rushed to the scene led by the OCS and the victims were picked and rushed to Inuka hospital Ugunja for treatment."

Cpl Solomon Kipchumba was discharged in stable condition while PC Dennis Mugo was rushed to Sagam Hospital Luanda for further treatment.
