'Why I wrote 'Cheaters prayer' Reveals Jamaican sensation Chris Martin

Jamaican artiste Christopher Martin has opened up on why he wrote his  famous hit 'Cheaters prayer' - a song majorly associated with cheating.

According to Chris, the song was dedicated to men who at one point have lost control of their emotions.

Speaking during an exclusive interview with he said

'That song was not about me. I was singing about what happens on a day to day basis.

As a man you see a beautiful woman and you are in a relationship.

Some of us stay away but some have to say the prayer.'

He added that he is not a cheater.

'The song was not about me because I am not a cheater.'

Chris, who is a father of three, also said that fatherhood is the best thing that has happened in his life.

'Fatherhood has made me patient. I love the whole experience, the feeling of coming home and finding them excited to see me back.

Everything I do is because of them,I love being a dad.'

On what legacy he would want to live behind, Chris said

'I want to live the legacy that Christopher Martin was a good artiste. I want to be a music ambassador world wide.

Christopher Martin will be performing at the Ngong Racecourse along side D Major and Future Fambo.
