Cases of police officers taking their lives have been on the rise and yesterday's incident that occurred at JKIA is the most recent one. A female police officer identified as Gaudencia Wausi locked herself in the toilet before blowing her head off early on Wednesday morning. Graphic photos of Ms Wausi went viral leaving Kenyans with more questions than answers.

"She went to the radio room where here male colleagues were and left her phone baton and cap on the table. She walked out and went to the toilet, locked herself in and shot herself in the head and died," Narrated one of the police officers who were at the scene.

The late police officer had just come back from her annual leave and seems to have been going through a lot and sources indicate that she had sent messages to her colleagues complaining of stress at work.

Wausi, whose Facebook username is Bella Caude Ian, seems to have predicted her death on social media and she recently 'revealed' this in a shocking post lamenting how unnamed people were “planning evil against her”.

“Life is so difficult when you live in a world where everybody is planning evil against you and what happens when you can’t hold it anymore and no more strength to support the few people who love and cherish you, you are left with no other option other than…. so help me God.”
