Kenya's second lady Rachel Ruto was on Friday evening suprised by her friends who organised a baby shower for baby Nadia who was adopted by the deputy President about two weeks ago. 

Nadia Cherono was found buried and her body even partly started decomposing after she was abandoned as a new born. Since then she has been under the care of Sisters at Madre Ippolata Children's Home and will today, Monday officially move to her new home which is the Deputy President's home.

I got a pleasant surprise this evening from friends who organized a baby shower in readiness for baby Nadia Jerono who is expected home this Monday….thank you all and Karibu Nyumbani binti Nadia - Rachel Ruto
