Pope Francis arrived at Uganda’s Entebbe Airport at around 5PM yesterday for his second African country visit off his six-day tour which began in Kenya on Wednesday and will conclude in the Central African Republic on Sunday. 

After meeting dignitaries, clergymen and groups of the faithful, the pontiff is today expected  to visit the Munyonyo Martyrs’ Shrine where an African king ordered a massacre of 23 Anglican and 22 Catholic martyrs.

As many as 2 million people are expected to attend the Holly mass which will take place at Munyonyo, including the president of neighboring South Sudan.
