Kenyan motivational speaker Sam West says that cheating in relationships is not anything new, that it has been in existence tangu siku za Moses.

According to Sam, marriages majorly break when the rules and guidelines set get broken.

Speaking exclusively to Mpasho, he said,

'Even during the days of Moses there were divorces and cheating.

But there are people living a happy life as husband and wife.

Every relationship has its own set of rules and laws and if you don't follow them such a marriage will break.

But there are three main pillars that build a long lasting marriage and that is wisdom, understanding and knowledge.'

Further adding,

'People should invest in relationship books, marriage seminars and talking to older couples.

What also helps in marriage is understanding that women translate love as affection.

Men on the other hand count your respect towards them as a sign that you love them.

wisdom is knowing how to navigate infidelity in a relationship. Never judge your spouse based on hearsay.'

His advise,

'Confront your partner and understand where everything began.

weigh in and decide whether to work on your relationship or walk away.

If you decide to stay, agree on the best way to move forward.'
